Since 1980 Stewart & Stewart has continued to print and publish fine art prints in collaboration with nationally and internationally recognized artists. Stewart & Stewart is one of the first printer/publishers inducted into the International Fine Print Dealers Association (IFPDA) and is among the longest running independent printer/publishers of fine art prints in North America. Founded in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan in 1980, Stewart & Stewart specializes in screenprinting and archival pigment printing. Nationally recognized for its exceptional work, fine art prints created at the firm's printshop have been exhibited and collected by private collectors, corporate curators, and art museums across North America and Europe. In 2021, The Detroit Institute of Arts purchased the Stewart & Stewart Fine Print Archive, including one impression from every fine art print edition and monoprint series the partnership has printed and published since its beginning in 1980.
